About Edel

I'll be honest — when I'm standing inside a beautifully designed interior or framing up a stunning architectural space, it doesn't feel like work. It feels like exactly where I'm supposed to be.

My journey here wasn't a straight line. I studied design at NCAD, spent twenty years building a career in hospitality, and then — like so many of us — the pandemic hit pause on everything. For me, that pause turned into a turning point. I picked up my camera, went back to college leaned back into my love of design, and set up my photography business. I haven't looked back since.

That blend of design education and two decades of real-world industry experience shapes everything I do. I don't just photograph spaces — I understand them. I work with businesses in construction, architecture, interior design, and hospitality across Galway, and Ireland bringing a considered, design-led eye to every project.

Clients describe working with me as effortless — they say I'm thorough, organised, and highly efficient, from the first conversation right through to delivery. No stress, no chasing, just great results.
